If you are unable to capture audio or your camera feed while recording your screen via the Chrome extension, then follow the instructions in the video below to confirm if NeetoRecord has the required permissions.
Some users might encounter a case where they click on "Start recording", and grant the screen permissions but the application shows the following message:
This occurs when the user had previously blocked the microphone permission at the browser level.
To fix this issue, follow the steps below.
-
Click on the configuration icon on the left side of the address bar.
Click on "Reset permission".
Click on the "Reload" button that appears.
Now try to record again and you'll be prompted with the microphone permission. Click "Allow" when prompted with the microphone permission.
If you have granted the necessary permissions but continue to face issues with microphone or camera, make sure your microphone is not muted or disabled. Test your microphone and camera with other applications to ensure it's working properly. You can also test your microphone and camera via https://webcammictest.com
If everything else fails, reinstalling the NeetoRecord Chrome extension can resolve temporary glitches.
Uninstall the extension. Right-click on the extension icon in the toolbar and click on "Remove from Chrome."
