Troubleshooting linux installation issues

After installation and opening the NeetoRecord If you can't see NeetoRecord icon in the menubar, you may be missing Appindicator support extension. Please install the extension or similar that is supported in your Linux distribution.

We recommend .deb or .rpm installers. If you want to use .AppImage please make sure you have installed AppImageLauncher and correctly configured.

Most Linux distributions require double click on NeetoRecord menubar for the app to activate.
