With GIFs you can give your users a small preview of the recording's content.
Sharing a GIF for your video is an effective way to capture your audience's attention. A GIF conveys much more information compared to a static image, making viewers more likely to click play. Just like a movie trailer provides a glimpse of what to expect, a GIF preview can intrigue your audience and make them curious to see more of your content.
You can copy and share the GIF of your video by going to the share tab and clicking on Copy GIF thumbnail.
Why I cannot embed my recording into an email?
Most email clients don't allow video embedding, so we recommend using copying the GIF thumbnail as mentioned above and pasting it in your email client when composing the email's body. This method is widely supported across different platforms.
When you copy and paste the GIF thumbnail, the GIF is a link to your video. So your users will be redirected to a separate webpage to watch the full recording. Giving a visual preview of your recording also increases the chance of the user clicking on it.
