A view is counted the first time when recording page loads and the viewer clicks on the play button.
For that same user, any repeat watches of the same video within the next 48 hours won’t increase the count. The count stays at 1 view. If the user watches the video again after the 48-hour window, it counts as a new view (e.g., 2 views total).
Watching your own video while logged into your account does not count as a view.
Example
Oliver watches a recording at 10:00 AM on Day 1 → 1 view is recorded.
If Oliver watches the same recording again anytime up to 10:00 AM on Day 3 → no additional view is counted.
If Oliver watches it again at or after 10:00 AM on Day 3 → it counts as another view (now 2 total).
